Education and the Outer Court

All Outer Court members are called "Probationers." The Probationate are not required to make any long-term dedications to the work of the order, only very personal dedications to themselves to strive towards realising their own potential. Probationers are students who undergo a system of training which includes the three rays of Power, Love and Wisdom. We believe that a student must grow through a balanced method of training if he or she is to reach their full potential. In our method of training we include the study of lessons (Wisdom), meditation (Love) and ritual exercises (Power).

The Outer Court is divided into three halls called the Halls of Probationers. Each Hall covers different material and each course is assigned to a specific Hall. A small personal initiation ritual is included at the completion of a Hall's primary work.

The introductory course is called The Threshold: A guide to Initiation and gives an excellent overview of the history of our Order, its teachings and methods that the Probationer can get a fair understanding of who and what we are should they, at some time in the future, be considered for initiation. Following courses build upon the foundational material found in The Threshold.
